The one kitchen faucet that works for 6" holes
Most modern faucets, it seems, are set up for an eight-inch span between the hot and cold faucets (handles?). Even those with a single central faucet, like this one, utilize those side holes as well; you just don't see them once they're installed. Older sinks, like ours, have six inches between the two. This model allows you to feed both hot and cold through the center hole and the plate covers everything up. It seemed to install readily enough--though the plastic plate on the underside needed a little after-market tweaking.The water pressure isn't as strong as the old fixture it replaced, but I'm not complaining about that; it's plenty strong enough and, in truth, is sort of soothingly gentle. We've only had it a few hours so I have no idea how it will work out long term, but it does have a lifetime guarantee.
