Poor Quality and Poor support
I purchased this cooler at a hardware store at the Outer Bank to haul home fish caught on a fishing trip. The latches would keep the lid open slightly when the latches are closed. Some weight was placed on the lid and one of the buttons for the latch was forced out. This made the hole too big to put the screw back in for the button. Contacted Igloo about the issue and their answer was to send me replacement latches. A lot of good that does. Poor quality on latch placement.

I’ve have a 100 qt and a 120 qt igloo ice chests that I use for deer hunting. Both have lasted since 1997 under some pretty heavy use. As of this writing 1/22/21, the only issues have been to replace one latch that I broke, and one small crack on the exterior cabinet of the 100 quart cooler. I repaired it with JB Weld several years ago and it hasn’t been a problem since. I couldn’t be more pleased with the performance of both of these coolers. I also use an igloo playmate that I have had for over forty years and it is as functional as it was on day one. I highly recommend igloo coolers. Should any of the ones I have ever give up the ghost I wouldn’t hesitate to replace them with a new model of the same size.
