Rated 3 out of 5 by from it quit I have been using it on a job with great care. Suddenly, it didn't run anymore. Then it started a couple of times only to quit again

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY, POOR PRODUCT This sprayer does not work longer than fifteen minutes. It works great, and then it starts to splatter everywhere. At this point you have to get a roller to smooth everything out, take 10-15 minutes to clean out the entire nozzle assembly, reassemble, and then you can spray again for about another fifteen minutes. The longer you use it, the less time you will have to spray before it splatters everywhere. I had to stop at some point on every wall of the bedroom I was painting. There are multiple other reviews and YouTube videos saying this exact thing, I wish I would have listened. And yes, I started the blower first and let it continue to blow after spraying, yes everything was assembled correctly, yes it was set to the right amount of air and material, yes I was using quality paint from SW, yes I cleaned the nozzle tip EVERY time I stopped spraying. Bottom line, there is a serious design flaw to this product. This is possibly the worst home improvement tool I have ever purchased.......

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It really works I have owned one other Wagner sprayer years ago. It just would not spray latex paint so I sent it back and gave up on trying to spray latex paint. Fast forward many years and now I find this in Home Depot. After much soul searching (it ain't cheap) I decided to once again jump in and get my feet wet. Well let me just say I am truly glad that I did. I am becoming a grandfather for the first time at the age of 68 and building the crib. As anybody will tell you old farts don't like to do two things. That's sand and use a brush to paint, with the exception of one of them artists. Bottom line is if you have a painting project, don't like to brush on the paint, are 68 years old or older, wake up in the morning, still mow your own yard, still work on your own car, still keep up your own house, been married for 46 years or more, drive a concrete truck but hate it because they don't call you in to work very much anymore, this is the sprayer for you. You can still buy one even if you don't meet all my criteria you won't regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wagner make it cheap and easy This is the first Wagner I have owned in 20 years. Easy set up. Easy clean up. These sprayers have come a long way. For those that have trouble with spray patterns, clogged tips, splattering and spitting paint.... THIN THE PAINT! Wagner says you can spray latex and oil based paint right out of the can.... Good luck! Latex should be thinned in the hopper 3/4 paint. 1/4 water. Stir Stir Stir. Do multiple light coats. I finished eight pre-hung primed interior doors and six closet bifolds in 30 minutes. Two coats each side semigloss. FANTASTIC RESULTS. CLEAN UP A SNAP. Remember to use a bread bag tie to poke through the small vent tube hole on the upper side of the paint pick up each time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FAR better than I could have hoped for! A few days ago we decided to paint the semi-unfinished basement of our house black, sounds funny but after looking at pictures online we wanted to try it. My father had asked why I didn't use a sprayer, and my response was because I wasn't wanting to worry about all the overspray, I just wanted to paint the ceiling- not the walls and carpet!! Well I started the job with a brush and roller, and about 3 hours into the job I realized that I was going to be at it for a YEAR at the speed I was painting! I started doing some research online looking at paint sprayers, I had never used one, so I wasn't sure what to look for but I just knew I wanted quality, and ease of use....not to mention a sprayer that wouldn't overspray everywhere. I decided on the wagner 590, and after using it- I know I picked the right one!!!! It's amazing! Every time I use it I get better and better with it, knowing what quantity of paint to set, what turbine power level, and the spray pattern I need. The whole time I was using it I kept thinking I need to call wagner and tell them how much I love this thing!! I saved SO much time, it even made painting fun....sort of:) Love it, love it, love it. Be sure to follow the directions, how to clean, how to reassemble etc, and it will work wonders for you. It isn't a cheap sprayer, but like anything else- you get what you pay for!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from clogs sprays uneven Doesnt work very well. Paint was very scattered on the wall. I do not recommend this product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall great product I needed to paint the outside of my house and wanted to spray it over roll as it is a block home and found this airless sprayer. Out of the box, this sprayer was easy to setup, fill and spray with little instruction other than nozzle adjustments. I was using a paint and primer in one and this unit had no issues drawing it up on the lowest volume setting and provided an even coat every time. Engaging the fan alone provides a convenient "dust off" to remove any loose particles from window ledges and such. One thing to be mindful of, the unit has a bit of weight to the rear and can start to weight on your wrist over long periods of time, so space out painting with breaks and switch hands if able. As the instructions state, keep a towel handy to wipe the nozzle often, it will keep the spray pattern constant and reduce splatter. Clean up was easy and straight forward with minimal parts to remove and clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Painted 2 coats on back of 2-story house in less than 8 hours We recently added 3ft to the roof line of our home for a bathroom addition and used the 590 to paint the exterior of the house and the siding below the addition to avoid old paint not matching the new paint of the addition. It only took 3 hours to apply each coat on the back of the house which reaches up to 25ft at its peak and 18ft along the sides. The gun sprayed an nice even coat and nozzle only needed occasional clearing. We did notice that the gun actually needed less clearing after the first day and we had taken apart the entire assembly to clean it. I would recommend cleaning entire gun and running a tank of warm water and a bit of vinegar through to clear any plastic or residue before using. We plan to use the gun to paint the interior and exterior of a duplex in the coming months.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First time use, very pleased Its the 3rd week of September and I needed to paint the house (yes, I put it off all summer). I decided that the quickest way would be to spray the paint on. I emailed Wagner support and they recommended the Flexio 570/590. I went with the 590 and I really couldnt be more pleased with the results. I have never used a paint sprayer before, and after a quick read of the instructions I tackled the job. It is a bit of a strain on the arm after awhile due to the weight of the unit filled with acrylic latex paint, but it sure beats using a roller and brush! Several reviews have mentioned how difficult the clean-up is, but I was able to completely clean up the unit in about 20 minutes. Be warned though, you will definatly use more paint, so budget for an extra can or two on bigger jobs. I plan to use the detail sprayer componant for doing guitar bodys. Next up is a bedroom!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reversing my first review I really loved the way the sprayer worked and handled and it was great to have two different spray holders for thin and thick paint/stain. However, after it failed after six hours use, of course I thought at that point it was bad. However, my review was seen and more importantly noticed by a Wagner representative and I must say I am more than impressed with the customer service of this company. I received a personal email from them and they listened to what I had to say. I was told to send back the sprayer so they could see what the problem was. I only sent back the sprayer because I thought they would just fix it, but boy was I surprised when less than a week later delivered by UPS was a brand new Flexio 590 still in the box! Brand new sprayer, paint holders, case, the works! I cannot believe the excellent customer service. They went way beyond what any other company has ever done for me. I'm hoping the motor problem was just a fluke and we just happened to get the bad one and this new one will give us years of good service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Sprayer with Easy Cleanup We love our 590. We are redoing a basement and painting more than 250 linear feet of cinder block wall and this painter did it easily. The results are fantastic and the level of control surprised us. Very easy to do detail painting. We ended up using it to do the walls and then we repainted about a dozen utility cabinets easy as you please. Plus the cleanup is very simple. In terms of painting equipment this is some of the best money we've ever spent and its been a significant time saver overall.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A much better product than the old "vibrating" spayers Does a really great job....no need to thin the latex paint which is great....oly wish I had bought the one with the air supply hose..this one gets heavy with the turbine attached, Other than that I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Sprayer I purchased the Flexio 590 this week (September 1st 2014) to spray Behr Ultra Premium Paint + Primer on a knockdown finish for a 750 Sq Foot basement project. The finished product looks very professional. As one reviewer indicated you may need to clean the sprayer thoroughly after about an hour of use as it starts to "spit" paint. I continually cleaned the nozzle after each fill of the container. For heavier latex paint set your dial to 8 and leave the spray width at wide. Some reviewers have indicated it takes an hour to clean-up the sprayer after use, it took me only 15 minutes after each use, which I would expect be normal cleanup time for a sprayer. I am trying to find replacement filters and it does not appear Wagner sell online.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from After only six hours of use, it failed. Only had this for apx 14 months. Used to paint a fence, two picnic tables, a fireplace, and a storage building. So, only has apx six hours of run time on it and the thing just quit in the middle of painting the storage building for the second time. The motor just completely stopped! Of course the warranty is fixed to where the item breaks just after the warranty is up! Don't buy!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Flexio 590 broken nozzle on first use Right out of the box the sprayer was erratic, inconsistent and leaked paint everywhere. I adjusted the volume and pressure to get the pattern I desired yet each pass I made produced a different result and finish. It was impossible to get consistency. After releasing the trigger paint would continue to flow, either in spurts while under pressure and later a steady drip as the pressure in the tank bled down. I wasted a half gallon of paint and painted the same project 6 times because of inconsistent performance by the sprayer before noting the reviews of others with the same issue. It turns out that the yellow nozzle (identified as the Flexio Air Cap Kit 0529225) is cracked on both sides of the opening and paint can blow by without being atomized and also after the trigger is released and the orifice should be closed. MANY other reviewers have noted this exact problem and the sprayer is unusable in it's present state. This part should be made of metal instead of cheap plastic. I need a replacement part immediately. By the way, the website won't upload my photo.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Excellent at first This is a great sprayer for latex paints. No thinning required and cleanup is a snap. However I'm on my 2nd one and it's currently out of commission. The first one worked for about a day before paint wouldn't stop coming out of the nozzle. I noticed the nozzle had cracked, so I returned it for another one. The second sprayer worked a little longer than the first before developing the same problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Product worked great I purchased the flexio 590 from Lowes and stained my deck but notice during the clean up the lock on the blower is cracked. I am not sure if I did this during use or possible some returned it. I am trying to find out if I can purchase the two halves.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works good but some problems right from first job... I bought this product to paint my fence. It covered well but I noticed from the first time I started painting that paint rain out of the hole when I disengaged the trigger. It poured out all over the gun and cup. I wiped it up and then on the restart, it spattered consistently. I cannot understand why I was having so much trouble right out of the box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple to use, fast and accurate I actually have the model 690, which is similar to the 590. The last time I stained my fence, which is 147 feet long, I did only one side using a manual pump garden sprayer. It took me nearly four hours. This time I used the Wagner Flexio 690. It took me 1.5 hours to do both sides for a total of 296 feet of fencing! This product is simple to use and very flexible for many painting jobs. The turbo boost unit is very quiet and the air hose is long enough to allow long stretches of painting before having to move the unit, which is small and light. Like most paint sprayers, it's a tedious job afterward to clean it, but much easier than most. I would highly recommend this system for all painting and spraying jobs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for some paints I have used it and works great with a water base paint, no problems at all, but, uses to much paint, if I put less paint through the nose it spits. Later I used it diluted on other wall but the color was to light. I like it because it works silent in comparison with my procoat, but I had to diluted it. It would be great if you upload some videos with the instructions and amount of water or mineral spirits to use depending on the amount of paint to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent sprayer I have used several sprayers and the 590 is excellent. Just finished spraying 10 outdoor shutters in record time. I am wondering if I can spray concrete sealer with it?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from By far your best sprayer I really love the Flexio 590 Sprayer, especially the quietness and easiness to clean. The only recommendation I have is the trigger. I would like to have a two position trigger so that in one position it locks so you don't have to hold down when spraying, then click again and it releases. Otherwise I like the sprayer. Bob Yonce

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This Kit has many options to use for Painting inside or out I like the speed of this Paint Gun. I was painting a Storage Shed and on the 3rd Cup of paint the Gun fell from table and hit the ground. The feed Tube broke off in the nozzle head and I had to complete the painting with the small detail gun head. When I looked in the Owners manual it showed no replacement parts for this Gun. My question why can't the Customer buy replacement parts?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wagner Flexio 590 is a good gun , but some issues I used this gun for the first time over the weekend spraying my front patio roof and a few aluminum awnings . The gun painted a nice consistancy with latex paint , it put down a nice coating that was smooth . I also had some spatter issues though like some other people , it worked great for a little while but then started to spatter. I cleaned it out and agin it worked for little bit then began to spatter . When using it yesterday for back awnings paint started to pour out of the nozzle uncontrollably and would not stop until I took gun apart . I replaced O-Ring and nozzle and it worked for a little then began to pour out of new nozzle . Im not sure what is wrong with it and why it did this , took it apart several times but didn't notice anything .

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worked great, temporarily. I picked up a 570 and used the gun for about 5 minutes. Following the factory recommended setting, it worked fantastic right away. At the end of the 5 minutes, I refilled the pot with paint and began painting again. Immediately the gun started to spatter terribly from one side of the nozzle. I pulled it apart and cleaned everything at which point I noticed the spray tip had cracks in its corners. I had to pack up, return it for a new one and start over. I finished my project with the new one and noticed as I was cleaning it out that the tip was beginning to split on the new one. I'll be returning this one for a different kind as this is obviously a design flaw, and most likely the cause of most other users spatter issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product for beginners I have used an older model of a paint sprayer and was not very impressed but after using the Flexio I am very satisfied. Ran 4 gallons of stain and was shocked at how easy it was. The only enhancement I would recommend is to be able to run directly out of the gallon can instead of having to fill the gun repeatedly (not sure if this is an option or not). The clean up of this product is very simple and easy as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from flexio 590 sprayer PAINTS WELL ONLY ISSUE I HAD WAS THE PLASTIC CANISTER WOULD NOT UNSCREW FROM THE GUN BECAUSE THE PAINT DRIED TO FAST INSIDE THE THREADS, IT TOOK ME 1 HOUR TO RUN HOT AND COLD WATER OVER IT BEFORE I COULD FINISH MY PAINT JOB. I LEARNED THE HARD WAY NOT TO SCREW THE PLASTIC CANISTER TO TIGHT ONTO THE GUN OR THIS ISSUE WILL OCCUR. WISH THE INSTRUCTIONS STATED THAT.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Value I am not a pro so I don't buy or can I afford pro Equipment, but I got to tell ya this product works very well. I recommend you practice with it first to learn its little idiosyncrasies that I have found with all spray paint guns. The detail nozzle is awesome. If using Latex and cant complete the project all at once be prepared to clean your gun. Latex will dry quickly and clog.
