great to throw in your tool box
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to tear; made from heavy duty materials; you can use this as a quick fix until you can implement a more permanent fix. It also doesn't leave a gooey mess on whatever surface you stuck it to after you remove it. Can be used on a variety of surfaces except for fabric or cloth surfaces...doesn't stick too well on those.

Super strong
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 3M Multi-use duct tape is strong enough for the toughest jobs. It stays where I need it to and it doesn't come off. I like to use it for patching, temporary repairs and to fix just about anything that has ripped or broke. It's easy to tear and easy to apply.
I also like the size and the color.

Fun and easy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M™ Multi-Use Duct Tape is a fun and sturdy product to use. It can also be used for many things such as craft projects or to repair something. I used it for both. I made a frame for photos and I also used it it fix a box that had torn. I live that it comes in different colors so it can be used in so many different ways.

Great tape
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I had a couple of projects I wanted to try to use this tape for. They both worked out great. One was for my pond netting. It had gotten a hole in the net from a limb falling. This tape worked great. It also rained all weekend and it didn’t affect the tape at all. Still strong as ever. The second was for the pond heater pump. Since it was going to rain I wanted to see if it would hold and keep the cord from getting wet. The previous kind we used didn’t work well and came undone soon after it started to rain. However, this tape didn’t. It held on tight and did a great job. I would recommend this tape as it was put to the test and it worked for me both times. I am very happy.

Excellent quality and easy to use!

I tore small pieces to bundle cords together and was able rip in vertically and horizontally, getting exactly the amount of duct tape needed. I was sent this product to use and review. Duct tape should be a staple in every home and love the quality of this one.

The tape is a good weight and is very sticky. I repaired a pump hose with it and have not had any leaks. I'll be keeping this on hand in the future.

I had a crack in my gutter outside that was constantly dripping after applying 3M™ Multi-Use Duct Tape NO MORE DRIP!! it applies smoothly so it looks great!!

Awesome Hold

I was very impressed! I knew with it being a 3 M product I expected it to be good but it was really good! Definitely recommend this product!

Duct Tape Happiness.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a Free Sample of the 3M Multi Use Duct Tape for Evaluational Purposes.
I found this 3 M Duct Tape to be a very good quality tape. I used it to repair a chair with a leg that kept coming apart. Prior to the duct tape there was a bungee cord holding it together. After repairing the chair leg, I wanted to be sure that it would hold up under normal use. I'm of average size , maybe a little bit overweight, but I sat down and visited with my Sister and had dinner. With all the normal activities the chair leg held up great! I sat there for several hours right after I put the tape on there. The Duct Tape was very easy to apply around the chair leg. There was no problem tearing the tape off the roll, and, it applied easily. I will definitely be recommending 3M Multi - Use Duct Tape to anyone who needs a high quality tape that's strong and easy to use. I didn't have any problems with the tape sticking to itself and balling up creating a mess. I also repaired a little wire on my headphones, where the cord was getting thin. I think this is a great value for your money. It's strong and can handle multiple types of repairs and taping boxes too!

Good for lots of things

This is easy to work with as it tears both vertically and horizontally so you can use it on just about any repair project you have. Functions perfectly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent a roll of this tape to try and it came at the perfect time. I had broken my silver curtain rod in my living room and used a piece of the tape to tape it back together. Fortunately, the break is somewhere it will never be seen, but even so, the tape matched it perfectly and has been working great. It holds well, blends well and was easy to tear. I'm 99% sure this wasn't the intended function of the tape, but I prefer buying items that work in a multitude of scenarios rather than just one.

This Duct Tape is Super Great for Repairs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this 3M Multi-use Duct tape! I used it to tape the back of a clock that had a battery case missing.
I also taped a cracked handle on my ash fireplace shovel.
I always use this 3M tape to wrap boxes for shipping because they really hold up well and I know my packages will arrive safely.
This flexible and stretchable duct tape tears easily and neatly, both horizontally or vertically.
The adhesion is excellent and won't jumble into a wad when trying to affix it to something.
It is waterproof both on front and bottom so would work well and last long on those outdoor repairs.
We have repaired a leak on our camper roof, a torn tent, and a firewood tarp with great results.
Everyone needs a good duct tape. I always put a roll or two in my friends housewarming or new neighbor gift baskets!
I tried the shiny silver shade that came in a roll of 1.88" x 60 yd.
There are also many other colors to choose from.
I received this product free from 3M to evaluate and I highly recommend it to others.
3M is a very superior and reputable brand. Cannot go wrong with this company.

The great all purpose, do anything tape you're use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is basically standard duct tape. As the duct-tape line is expanding to include things "all weather", "no residue" and even "transparent" duct tapes, I think the "multi-use" label is just to let people know it's the traditional all-purpose product we're used to. I think 3M makes some of the best products on the market and I've always got a use for this. While I love the new products, this will always be my go-to multi purpose duct tape.

Works well

I have used it to fix a tarp that got ripped from the extreme winds we have been having on and off during this winter. Also, have used it to fix a tube of toothpaste that came unglued and it is working to hold the toothpaste in.

Strong and Durable and Strong Adhesive

And I needed to apply some fresh Duct Tape on my Duct work too I would highly recommend this product

Holds just what you need - when you need it!
