sounds like a great idea
I had a leak in my rv water tank underneath. I prepped and cleaned applied this product. Wait one agonizing day without water only to have it leak once tank got filled. I knew better than to think I could fix a leak from the outside!

Layer after layer
I have used this product a few times and each time I've had to apply a layer, check for leaks, apply another layer, check for leaks... and the one hour dry time must have come from someone who has never actually owned a watch :). Give it a day or more if you can...

JB WATERWELD SAVED A SINKING SHIP
"Mv Mount Elisabath" was sinking in the Galle Sea of SriLanka and on my advice to the particular Welding Team took kneaded JB WATERWELD under the Sea and sealed the crack and it was great sucessful. Later the vessel sailed to India for a major overhaul.

Fixed my pvc irrigation piping
Changed my broken pvc piping. Found a leak in the new fittings. JB welded it. Worked first try. Saved me a lot of work.

Still got drip
Bought water weld 5/6/22 to stop a drip from joint in PVC. Figured it could fix a small drip. Cleaned up the joint, turned off water and applied as instructed. Waited one hour before turning water on and still have the drip. Tried this on another application with same result.

Not worth it
Had a joint in my pressurized pvc irrigation system come loose. I thought this would be a good solution rather than cutting it out and replacing. Prepped the pipe with sanding and primer - use 3 tubes to put in on thick - let dry x 24 hrs - pressurinzed the system and it cracked
