True Life Story - and it sucks!
I bought this device and kept it in my Honda Accord trunk. 8 months later, I needed it because my car battery was dead.
I turned the device on. It displayed that the device was 100% charged. Cool! I hooked it to my battery. The device did NOTHING. No electric jump at all.
I called a tow truck (thinking the problem was not the battery). They tow guy said “Let me try my jumper). The car started right up!
The next day, I read the manual again that I read 8 months ago. I discovered that if the car battery has ZERO charge, you must hold the device button down a full five seconds!
Dude, when your car is stuck in a busy parking lot, who can sit and read a whole manual? You just attach the cables and press JUMP!
Yes, I get that the manufacturer doesn’t want to get sued because someone connected the cables improperly. But they have a big display on the device. Why not have a message like: MANUAL OVERRIDE- PRESS BUTTON FOR FIVE SECONDS.
I returned the device.

Unhappy with product
I used this twice and worked like a champ. Third time I needed it and the battery will not accept a charge and led reads 0.0% charged.sorry to say but, this is a piece of garbage.

2. Years and love it
Bought for travel instead of jumper cables. I do a test about every 6 months. I disconnect the car battery and am able to start the car with out issue.
I took it to work and had our mechanic do a load test after the last use and it’s fine.

Absolutely TERRIBLE!!
Bought 2 years ago, kept it charged for a time I would need it. That time came, the very first time I needed it. DEAD, and won't take a charge. Save your money for gum. This is a terrible product.

Bad Battery
Barely used it, but the battery swelled up to the point it cracked the case open.
Would have been good except for the completely bad battery. Do not recommend. Such a rip off.

Battery swells up
Bought a year ago or so jumped a few cars and trucks always recharged it and made sure to charger it after a month or 2 of no use. Then it just randomly swelled up luckily didn't exploded or start a fire. Very disappointing
