Designed by and for engineers
This darned thing was a gift so I can't return it. Easy setup? You're kidding. It took my son and his partner (a Master Plumber) an entire afternoon to set it up. And then it didn't work as advertised. I still haven't figured out an easy way to use it. Now, I'm old (81) but not stupid. And I'm not a 98 lb weakling. Ninety-eight pounds, yes; weakling, no. I sling 25-50 lb boxes of frozen products around for six hours a day at work. The mess of hose is cumbersome and putting it "in the sun" for a few minutes didn't soften it up one bit. Putting it in the sun for an entire day didn't soften it up, either.
It's a giant PITA to try to coil it up and a bigger PITA to move it around. Those stakes? Pffft. Not even worth trying to explain.
I can hardly tell the giver that it's junk, Gimme some pleasant words to say how much I appreciate the gift. I DO appreciate the thought, but it's unusable. Back to my Melnor oscillating sprinkler. Sigh.

The Best Garden/Bed sprinkler on the market
I have a couple of front beds with different sorts of plants in my front yard that needed water. I searched all over to try and find something that would fix my dry landscape beds and my dry plants, and couldn't find anything until I found this. There couldn't be a better sprinkler the way you can customize it and make it water where the plants need it make it so much easier. I am super happy with my purchase totally recomend!!!!
