Three stage snow blower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Up graded from a two stage couple years to a three stage happy with machine but really need four plus inches of snow to run efficiently found when removing less then four inches running forward at higher speeds pushes the snow 20-25 feet.

It starts easily with the electric start and has done well with all kinds of snow and ice. I've only had issues when the snow is wet and heavy so at times I have had to clear the shute. I have had to adjust the shute arm as it comes loose and has to be tightened periodically.

Works great. Starts within a couple of pulls.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this about a year ago. One day I had to change the spark plug and when I tried to install the new one it would not thread in. I took it to a repair shop and he said the threads were stripped and had to repair it. I did not force the plug. He said it probably was like that when it left the factory.

Only add i would have is that the scraping blade could be made non corrosive / resistant to salt. Also the skids (2 small supports at bottom) could be of stronger metal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought in 2015. Able to handle everything I aim it at. Added heated grips and am pleased with them, but wish they were a little hotter. Would like a remote adjuster on the tilt of the snow exit like had on the old MTD blower I had. The snow tends to push the end completely open and will not remain where I set it.

Great Snowblower!

Clears Snow but Reliability and Warranty Issue
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Would not start after less than a year. Fuel system problem not ocovered under warranty. In addition to the repair cost there was a pick and drop off charge since to get the 200 pound machine into the repair shop and returned to my house.
Thoroughly read the warrantee and any extended warranty you purchase before buying.

Great Snowblower

Easy adjustment for forward/reverse gears. Had a 19" snow 2 years ago and it went thru it like nothing was there. Highly recommend this machine

Best snow blower I’ve ever had!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Troy-Bilt Storm model 2460 on advise from a friend. It’s the best snow blower I’ve ever owned! I love it. Easy electric start. It starts on the first or second pull even without using the electric start option. It’s self-propelled with 4 forward speeds and 2 reverse. I can adjust the speed to fit the conditions, no matter how deep or wet the snow is. The chute is easy to adjust, even on the fly. The handling is excellent, it doesn’t require power steering. Troy-Bilt products that I have owned in the past have always been built with quality and dependability. Hopefully, this snow blower will be the same. I would buy this again, very pleased with my purchase.
