Piece of Crap
We brought this model this year and have used it three times. It has not worked properly ever. The chute doesn't operate with the handle and has to be turned manually, the auger stopped working for no apparent reason today and may make this piece of crap worthless altogether, speeds 1 - 4 don't propel the blower forward, it just sits there. The choke has be to engaged the entire time or the engine surges even after being warmed up. I would advise spending the extra and getting something better. Unfortunately, this blower isn't worth a buck, let alone $800. You'd be better off buying and Ariens.

Good snow blower- bad engine design
Its now been three years since purchase. After first year the key switch went bad, now the carburetor is clogged. No filter or fuel shutoff valve in the design. A fuel filter with the size of the jets small as a pin hole is not a luxury, it is a necessity. A fuel shutoff valve should be designed into the outlet of the fuel tank. It is not if one needs to shut off the fuel but when. So spending over $300 in repairs is not something one looks forward to on a new snowblower specially when there is foot of snow to be cleared.

Awesome machine
This unit just blew through the recent snowstorm without any issues. Great machine. I'm not sure what I would do without it.

Great purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't had a chance to use it yet. But from setting it up to doing a trial run, it looks great. Very easy to use and looks sturdy. Will be using it this winter.

Failed to start after one off season
I bought this product in late 2018 and used it in early 2019 up until about Feb/March (a total of 5 times). I followed the exact directions for off-season storage. I went to start it for the first time in 2020 and it did not even want to start. I took it to a recommended service company in my area and was told it would not be covered by warranty because it was fuel related. I have other products and lawn care equipment and follow the same off-season methods and those start just fine. I am going to give it a try and follow another set of instructions they provided. I went on a limb and bought this. In hind sight, I would stick to the quality products I am used to.
