Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2625 Review I bought this a few weeks ago. We haven't had a major storm yet but so far the blower is working well. It has enough power to blow the snow a fair distance. I like being able to change the chute direction and the engine speed from the handle area instead of having to bend down. A couple of small negatives: The slowest forward engine speed is a bit too fast and pushes the machine a bit faster than the auger/impeller can blow it. Also the headlight is in the center and much of the light is blocked by the chute - the light should be on the right side. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice machine for the $$$ I paid, but... I’ve had mine three years now. Really crummy light! But other than one broken shear pin and all is good! I was hoping this model being a two-stage would really blast the snow, and if it’s packed full constantly it does, otherwise a bit disappointing. I love the features, electric start is awesome and adjustable/replacement skids are nice too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work Horse Made my Troy Built Snow Machine purchase over one year ago and don't regret it one bit, The machine starts up on the first try on most occasions, Is really good on Gas and is fast enough on the fist or second forward gear. The only thing I would have done different is, getting a machine that has Power Steering. Other than that this is a powerful snow blower and clears my 30 plus foot driveway and walkway around to the back entrance of the house in good time, throws the snow far and wide. Happy with my purchase, [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Piece of Machinery I have had this snow thrower for over 9 years and have very pleased with this machine. It always starts immediately and have not had problems with it stalling out when it gets clogged heavy wet snow. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light weight, powerful I've been using my Storm 2625 blower about 5 years in Maine winters and it's still going strong. Only had to replace one cable. I like the light weight, the throwing distance, and the clever swing handle to aim the chute (squeeze and swing quickly; no cumbersome cranking). [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dependable We finally got a nine inch dump of snow recently and I was able to fire up the "red machine". First pull, no problem. Have not ever been able to use the electric start because the rope pull has been so dependable. Very happy with performance. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
