Rated 5 out of 5 by from Should have bought 2 the first time! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I should have bought two the first time, one for my use and one for the neighbor who keeps borrowing and not returning it. This is my second one, and as far as I know my neighbor is still using the first one, but the whole family moved out and took it with them. Now I am enjoying the second one all to myself. It preforms well, doesn't bog down and I can still use all the attachments I had bought for the first one. Win, win!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Trimmer Prior to The Most Recent Order I have Another Troy Bilt for about 4 Years. I could no longer use The Bottom Attachment (Weed Eater) so I-needed another Weed Trimmer. The Most Recet Weed Trimmer is Fine and I stil use The old one with The Edger. I had to Replace The Carburetor on The Old One after Three Years. Everything is Good. I like Troy Bilt Weed Trimmers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great attachments, terrible string trimmer I use the four sided blade attachment a lot, and it's very good. The string trimmer head, however, is trash. The bump feature doesn't work. It constantly siezes. I've had to use a bench vise to remove the red screw cap end. Essentially the first couple uses will be awesome, then the poorly designed, disposable trimmer head will stop working.... waste of money UNLESS you plan to use the other attachments. Also, a full tank of gas will last maybe 20 minutes, so it's pretty expensive to operate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great all around trimmer. Tough enough for stubborn weeds and light enough not to weigh you down over time!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from will not start after 4 uses. purchased last year and used it 4 times, now it doesn't start. when finished I stored it according to instructions, removed gasoline. I used new gas with new mixer. still doesn't start. what do I need to do?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never again Bought this trimmer two weeks ago and has been worst trimmer purchase ever. String bump has never worked will not feed out line and have to take apart constantly. Besides the line issue you cannot keep gas in it. If you purchase one you better have a gas caddy following you around. Wore out echo and homelite in the shop coming back out. I’m not new to string trimmers however this one is junk.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not pleased with this trimmer. It takes too much time to start. Even if its warm it take to long. My other Troy bilt died and was no longer available. I contacted Troy bilt and was told no longer available. I have all attachments for my old one so I needed something comparable. This is what.was recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Line bump feed [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although this is a great piece of equipment the bump feed since the first use has always bound up and requires me to take it apart and untangle the line. Maybe it will get better. If it doesn’t I will contact customer support.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must Have Multi-Purpose Lawn Tool [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this as a replacement for the same model trimmer that I purchased years ago. This trimmer allows for multiple attachments including my edger, hedge trimmer, and limb saw saving me a lot of money. Easy to start and easy to use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Trimmer head has failed 2x in two years The trimmer head has failed on my TB35 EC twice - the reviews were good, but as little as I have used mine - poor design. I have a TB self propelled mower and great quality, but this product and expense of repairs, poor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Machine I don't know what these guys are complaining about. . . other than the fact that they don't know how to take care of their tools, maybe the older ones are better (I hope not), or maybe they got a lemon (it happens). I bought mine over 8 yrs ago and while I do not abuse my tools, I work them very hard and have never had an issue AND I MEAN NEVER. Its just time to buy another because someone else blew the thing up. . . it happens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very dependable I have had mine for a little over two years and it works every single time, I bought it because I was tired of dealing with the power cord of my old electric trimmer. I know is wrong but I removed the cover, it was always on the way and I couldn't see what I was cutting

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Real Piece of Junk Been a problem after light use for a year, unfortunately invested in its other option attachments including chain saw and pole extension, also junk. Trimmer handle and trigger assembly screw fell out with first year of use. What a problem to repair, I put a new screw in only to find out the original hole was stripped out, No problem, put in slightly larger screw to which only screw into a thin wall tube, cheap design. Now it does not want to keep running and has no power, after checking air filter, trying fresh fuel and new spark plug the same, no power. Narrowed it down to a likely carburetor problem. Great! One year of service with nothing but problems. BUYER BEWARE, PAY LITTLE, GET LITTLE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Use, Owner Manual available online, 58MWF This is a great trimmer. If you don't have the manual, it is available online from this site. There is just nothing bad about this trimmer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheaply made I bought this almost a year ago and it stopped running. When I tried to restart it the primer bulb is not getting fuel. Technical support is telling me my carburetor is plugged and air is not drawing into the carburetor. What a waste of money.Should have realized junk when I had to exchange the previous two other trimmers..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from easy to use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Priced right and easy to use. Some of the other ones I looked at had really short arms on them. I didn't want to have to bend over to use it all the time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sucks Constantly have to work on this thing. Handle is not tight on shaft and slips. Gas bulb replacement required every six months. Leaks everywhere.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A real pain [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this trimmer a little over a year ago and have used it approximately 3 times. I brought it home, made sure it had the proper fuel mixture and followed directions to start it and like to never got it running. I finally got it started and was lucky to keep it running long enough to do my small yard. Next time I tried to use it, I couldn't even get it started so I decided to look on YouTube to see if anyone else was having the same issues, they sure was and I found out the trimmers are built and set up for a different altitude (north) and I live in Florida, so you had to take it somewhere to have it adjusted which I did. I used it one more time and it refused to start again the next time I needed it. Since taking it back to the repair shop gets expensive I decided to follow directions on YouTube to adjust the carb myself but first I had to order the special tool it takes to do the job. The tool arrived, I adjusted the carb and was able to use it one more time but it wouldn't start the next time I needed it so it now hangs in my utility shed until I throw it in the trash because I bought a nice cordless electric trimmer that I don't have to mix gas for or wear myself out trying to start and it does a much better job than the worthless Troy Built ever did..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best String trimmer! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this string trimmer about 2 or 3 years ago. Best investment ever! I am disabled and unable to start any gas engine with a pull starter. With the electric starter I don't have that problem. This starts first time, everytime! I haven't had any problems except running out of gas! Keeps my yard looking great and well trimmed!
