Mold & dead rat
I’ve been buying this for 2 years and agree with others about the debris & sticks but it’s still a good deal. Until!
My last bag seemed fine until today when I noticed some black liquid dripping from a corner of the bag. I keep my feed in a heavy duty sealed plastic storage container on my covered and 3 sides enclosed porch so no way it was rained on & I live in desert SW Texas where we’ve had no rain in months.The seed inside was so moldy I started sneezing then the smell of something dead hit me. The remaining seed was hard and white with mold. We dumped it out into and found a dead rat decomposing inside. Sealed it up in 2 heavy duty trash bags then sealed that in a box and deposited in dumpster. I’m going to look for another brand.

Birds (and squirrels) love it,,BUT
As I said the birds love it but just as another reviewer stated; I have to sift through the seeds picking out debris otherwise it clogs up my feeder. There are quite a few sticks and other debris and it takes me quite some time to pick through it. There's a big difference looking at the feeder filled with seeds I've picked through and when I haven't as it's a lot darker color (as you'd expect Black Oil Sunflower Seeds to look) without the debris. I think the product was a higher quality some years ago but unfortunately, for now, this seems to be what you get for the price no matter where you buy it.

Sticks clog the feeder
Was on sale so i thought would try it out. I know that there are going to be a few other pieces of whatever in the bag but there are pieces of sticks in there large enough to clog the feeder. I can see that the feeder is full but no birds because they can't get to the food.
