Can barely hear the speaker over the fan
We just installed this unit, then connected my phone via bluetooth. Could almost not hear the speaker volume over the fan itself. And YES, we made sure the protective plastic covering was removed. If we can't get the volume to increase, we'll return this unit.
Is there a way to increase the volume? If we can't hear music over the fan, I have no idea how we'd hear music during a shower.

Unable to properly mount the grille
Just finished installation and patching. Springs are not seeming to have anywhere to slot into housing and I have absolutely no idea how it’s supposed to even hang up. Please help asap.

Want to hear the bluetooth speaker? Remove the pr
You'll see a bunch of complaints about the sound from the speaker being barely audible here. What people don't realize is there is a clear protective film that covers the bottom of the light. You have to search for the edges. Once you find the film, carefully pull back the film while holding the light. Then just reconnect. Is it room shaking sound? No, but you can easily listen to music, a game, or a podcast with no issues.

Can barely hear the music
The fan works fine but the speaker is completely useless. You can barely hear the music over the shower. Should have just opted for the cheap standard replacement fan.

Speaker is useless
Just installed today. The speaker sounds like an aluminum can. Do not purchase this if you intend on using the Bluetooth speaker.

Bluetooth died after 4 weeks
I bought this fan because I wanted to replace a standard fan with one that had a light. But the Bluetooth speaker was a great addition - until it wouldn't connect after only 4 weeks of use. I tried unplugging it and plugged it back in. I tried unpairing and re-pairing it on 2 different phones. Still nothing. So what I ended up with is an expensive exhaust fan with a light. As an add-on input, the sound quality of the speaker was ok, unless I wanted to hear it while the shower was running, then it was basically noise. I'm pretty sure this model is the lowest quality/price model in the lineup, but still, only 4 weeks before dying? That's terrible.

No what it is cracked up to be
Bought this fan a couple weeks ago and had my contractor put it in. Was so excited to connect my Blue tooth so I could jam in the bathroom when I was getting ready. The fan is louder then the speakers and the speakers just cut in and out the whole time and can barely make out the words. Don't spend double money on this bathroom exhaust fan for the blue tooth! save money and buy a basic one.

Bluetooth useless
I bought this because it has a Bluetooth speaker and I could save counter space by removing my iHome speaker. Wrong! The sound is barely louder than the fan itself and certainly can’t be heard when the shower is running. I will search for a way to replace the speaker with a loser one, but won’t hold my breath. Very disappointing.
