Difficult to use
I could never figure out how to get this thing to actually work. Once I had the strap in place, the lever action was underneath the strap. And even then it wouldn’t tighten.

Great Product

Good design for shallow jewelry size boxes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my preferred clamp for shallow jewelry boxes that have keyed miter corners. The band is wide enough that I get good results using only one band clamp for 2 1/2” to 3” deep boxes.

Ratchet Won't Work; No Instructions are Included
I purchased the Pony Jorgensen 1 in. x 15 ft. nylon band clamp #1215 a week ago to repair a broken picture frame. The clamp appears to be well made, but no instructions were included with the clamp, and I have not been able to get the ratchet to work. I read reviews before buying this clamp. Some mentioned not being able to make the ratchet work, but I have substantial DIY experience and believed it couldn't be that difficult. Wrong. I've watched every online video I can find multiple times but none of them addresses how to use the ratchet. It seems this should be simple to do, but the ratchet just doesn't work. I've rated this product three stars for quality based on the apparent good construction and three stars for durability because it seems it will last a long time, although I've only had it a week or so and have yet to be able to use it. Regardless of good construction, no product is worth the price if it doesn't work or the customer is unable to make it work because of lack of instructions.

Not just for wood
I own three of these and have used them for small boxes and frames. They are also great when I am trying to air up tubeless tires on yard wagon or grandkids ride on toys.

I have been using these clamps for a long time. I own about 4 pairs and use them for box building. These are excellent clamps for pulling mitered boxes together while the glue sets. Since I've used them for years, they look worn and haggard but as yet have never failed me. Great product!

Versatile clamping tool
I purchased this clamp over a year ago and have used it on numerous projects. From display cabinets to picture frames, this is my go to clamp to hold everything in place. I like the ratcheting mechanism, makes it easy to tighten with just enough pressure and keep it in place. I would recommend this for most cabinet or frame assembly glue ups or for holding squared up for screws.

Even Better Now!
Approximately 35 years ago, I bought a pair of Pony band clamps and the webbing has finally become frayed after all those years. About one month ago, i bought another pair and expect many years of use. However, there clamps are even better because of the ratcheting handle integral to them, which the old clamps did not have. Well done!

New style band clamps
I had band clamps in the past that functioned great. The old style had metal corners and a small wrench to tighten the pressure. But the new style has a built in wrench thats always getting in the way. The corners now are plastic and have to be held on the band with little tabs. They are a total hassle to use. You had a great, simple product that was easy to use. This new (Improved) version is anything but in my opinion. Will never waste my money on this version. I now must make my own corner alignment pieces but will have to unfortunately live with the built in wrench.
