HTH® alkalinity increaser, 5 lbs., raises total alkalinity in swimming pool water. The ideal alkalinity range is 60-120 parts per million. If the total alkalinity is too low, pH will fluctuate excessively.

HTH Alkalinity Increaser works just like I need it to. It's the first step to sanitize your pool. It's easy to use, dissolves quickly and helps keep pH levels in range. Fantastic!

Must have!
I am so completely satisfied with the alkalinity increaser. I've tested our water about every 2 days and it has maintained a steady pH since the first application. This product is really easy to use, just pour and swish and test the pH after about a couple of hours. I used this after the phosphate remover and I think I'll make that my new thing, maybe every couple of weeks. Great product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great product for my pool
Alkalinity Increaser is easy to use. It brought the alkalinity level as stated on directions. If you know the amount of gallons you have in your pool and points needed to come up, then this is the product to use. With it being an HTH product, I feel comfortable that it is a safe product. Works wonders!

Great Features!
