Rubber switch is garbage
Got this thing a few years back, worked great for however long. The issue is a semi hard rubber switch that gets pushed in when you push the basket in. For whatever reason, smoke build up, normal wear and tear, the switch becomes too hard to be pushed in by the basket and basically you have a brick. It's disappointing to see something made by black and decker being junk... oh wait--that is the business model.

Fan isn’t working.
Received a used fryer from a friend and with our first use the chicken legs took more than one hour to cook. It doesn’t seem like the fans are working at all.

Handle screws
When cooking the 2 screws on the handle work loose to the point that one fell out during cooking. I have to tighten them after every use. I'm afraid that I will pull the basket out and the screws let go causing hot food to spill potentially causing burns

Just stopped working!!!!!!!
I've had this this air fryer for a year and it just turned off and stopped working. It worked pretty well and before this my only complaint was the loose food tray. Now this machine does not work!!!! What a waste of money

First air fryer
Wanted to try this smaller air fryer to decide if it's something I will use. Loved the way it air fried my hambergers and tater tots in no time at all. Will go for the bigger one for sure.
