Great!
Really like this new fan. Bot it to replace a previous Hunter fan that stopped working, after several years. I trust Hunter Fans! It is modern looking and whisper quiet. I especially like the built-in-remote-receiver (that is not an add-on). Also like the dimming feature for the light. Very happy with it, Note: This is a two-person installation.

Terrible decisions & lost potential
I bought this fan because it has an amazing aesthetic design. Installation however was a nightmare.
I came to learn that, despite there being dual switch instructions in the install guide, this fan cannot function with independent switches to control the fan and light. One switch functions as a “breaker” for the entire fan. If that is not on, then nothing will work. The second switch then only controls the light (which doesn’t work if the first switch is off). This leaves the only way to control it (if you want smart functionality available all the time) to leave the switches on all the time and use either the remote, mobile app, or voice control 100% of the time. (Much less preferable when you’re just walking out of a room and have to pass the switches anyway.)
The fan will not work with smart switches. I was aware that this was a smart fan, but I had hoped I could choose to wire it like a normal fan and control it via other means and not configure the fans onboard smart functions. That is not the case.
I will say, while working with Hunter to figure this out, I left the fan wired and used it at night to keep our bedroom cool. While the fan was running at 100%, it was like a small tornado - which is great.
If I could have installed this exact fan without its smart functions, and used other smart switches in a normal dual switch configuration, it would have been perfect in every way. Unfortunately that’s not the reality.

Great so far the speed moving air noticed a faint noise might be from the screw holding the ceiling cover that fan didn’t need any balancing and that was the first time for me on any fan I have installed.

Pleased with our purchase
We purchased this Hunter fan to replace one that was damaged by an electrical power surge to our house. I could not find an exact match for the old Hunter fan that we removed, that matched the model in 3 other rooms of our house. But this one is very good. The electrician we hired had to consult with the Hunter fan service line for technical advice once it was wired and ready to power on in our ceiling. Apparently there is a time delay from when the breaker panel is turned on and when the remote will activate the light. That's not mentioned in the paperwork for installation. The remote control is very disappointing. It's a dinky little thing that took some effort to learn how to operate. I like my other Hunter fan remotes more but we've learned to live with this one.

Don't buy if you want a 2 switch setup
Nowhere in the documentation, on the website or on the box does it say this fan doesn't work with a 2 switch setup. I wanted a 2 switch setup. The only reason I found is because I had to call customer service. Only works with a 1 switch setup, which means you HAVE to use the remote to turn the light on/off.

Beautiful - cheap parts
Drilling the fan into the ceiling - both screws stripped and had to replace both. Cheap metal is not what you want when hanging fans. Also, no replacement screws included. The fan itself is gorgeous and looks great but the glass light cover broke when shipped. Trying to get in touch with customer service has been like pulling teeth.

Great and affordable.
Amazing! It's quiet and moves a lot of air. I no longer need to use a box fan in my room. This fan is more than enough to move the air. Highly recommend!
I'm glad I have an app to control my fan and light. I didn't experience any issue setting it up.

Looks nice but…
Needs balancing upon start. Blades are difficult to attach with fan motor mounted to ceiling. Remote looses connectivity with power loss. Old style wall slider switches are better than these buggy remote systems designed by a expat budget tech.

mini tornado
1. this this is crazy quiet. the only noise is the wind this thing generates (aka white noise)
2. this thing kicks out sooooooo much air. it is legit multiple degrees cooler right under this thing (on high) the one right above my desk i had to turn down to about half way cause i was actually chilly. walking down the hallway i can feel the wind coming out the rooms with this fan in... it is phenomenal. i mean i bought 5 of these things so i can have them all over the house...
3. It does work with homekit which i love; there are days i hurt so bad (physically) its super nice that i can have siri control the fan and lights.
4. it only takes two lights but it really lights up a room nicely.
oh and 5. its looks nice

Worst features and Basic needs are missing
Did the Blunder buying, Bought 4 fans and are on the same circuit. Every time i try to pair with remote each remote is connected to other fans. As suggested unwired all and tried pairing one on one but the remotes are connected previously to one other it is same. same remote working for other fans. There is no way we can reset remotes. That is the basic need.

Lights not properly working
I purchased and had installed 4 Hunter model 50416 ceiling fans less than two weeks ago and already having issues with that lights not working to the point the company sent out new bulbs and now offering to send new light kits for ME to install. I’m disappointed because I paid a large amount of money for the ceiling fans and install and now I’m told I need new light kits!?? For new ceiling fans!?? Very unsatisfied and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Go get another brand!

We love our new fans
We actually bought 6; one for each room... Two installed so far. Kind of a hassle to install (I'm sure other fan's are just about the same), but once it's done the fan and light with the remote and the app work great.

Moves a nice amount of air
The unit has a very nice color. It is extremely quiet when running and moves quite a large amount of air. I have it installed in my kitchen and it is over the table and it keeps air circulating all the way over by my sink. When you press the buttons on the remote the fan beeps to let you know that it received the transmission, which is a nice added benefit.

Impossible to connect to WiFi
I purchased this fan exclusively so it would connect to Alexa. While the fan itself works great, it is impossible to get it to connect to WiFi through the simple connect app. If you’re looking for a fan that will connect to your home assistant, might as well keep looking.

Works Great!
I installed this fan without any problems. The only part that takes some time is installing the fan blades. I installed the center screw first loosely and then the other 2 before tightening all 3 screws. I downloaded the Hunter App without any problem and also connected with Apple HomeKIt. We do have a dual 2.4 and 5 wireless router. Everything works fine.
