Won't stay on schedule
I bought the T5 7-day programmable thermostat a month ago and it won't stay on cycle. I have reset the program every other day, read the manual from cover to cover several times, followed instructions to the tee, checked wiring, re-checked and checked again and problem persists. Personally I believe the unit is absolute junk and wish I had seen the reviews prior to purchase, but then again, who reads reviews for a simple thermostat? I thought Honeywell was a reputable company making quality products. I no longer have that thought.

Hard to Program
1. Haven't gotten in program right yet...still working on it.
2. I do not need the away program feature (retired).
3. But do need an away button on front that can be initialized when I leave the house for a short time only. Then cancel when I return?

cycles too often
I bought this thermostat over a year ago. It was easy to install and set up but cycles my furnace way too often. It has turned my furnace on and shut it back down in under a minute. It will restart the furnace before the blower fan has stopped running from the previous run cycle.

Question
Is the RTH7560E1001/U interchangeable with the RTH6360D1002/E? We have the RTH6360D1002/E installed now and we want to switch it out to the 7 Day Programable RTH7560E1001/U. Will both stats operate the same with the exception of the programmability?

We installed this model 6 mos ago ready to toss on the garbage and buy a different one difficult to program and won't turn up heat any higher than 68 total waste of money

Doesn't control heat pump well
I purchased this unit thinking it would be an upgrade from my old one. Cooling works fine, heating is another story. I followed directions, even called tech support and ran through all the settings for it. It heats the house however, it doesn't shut off! I changed a wire as the technician suggested and it heated but then, after reaching set point, it started cooling, but ran constantly. I am taking it back to the store, since their tech support couldn't even resolve it. On to the next brand.
