The mighty backpack
I LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! This bag is slim- but has a lot of compartments to it! It’s super lightweight, the shoulder straps are wonderfully padded, and the backpack is made of great quality and purpose, even down to the stitching! I would definitely recommend buying!

It’s a great backpack. Fits my computer. I think I can fit a day or two worth of clothes in it to because it has a solid structure and is great for packing.I got the blue color and I plan on using it for work too.

Decent but small travel bag
I generally love Travelpro products, and I selected this bag after spending a LOT of time researching a backpack to meet my needs for daily commute to/from work + regular travel. I've used the bag for a few months before writing a review.
Ultimately, the biggest hang-up I have is how limited the space is with this bag - the material does not flex at all, and the tapered construction limits what can be packed into the bag. I also love all of the different compartments for organization, but they are not nearly as functional as I would expect. When the bag is full, the various compartments become unusable or very difficult to get things into/out of them. The bag is very durable, and whatever you can fit into the bag is securely protected.
I travel semi-frequently, and my standard pack would include: thinkpad laptop, ergonomic mouse, laptop charger, whatever book i'm reading, at least one embroidery project, small travel purse/wallet, small first aid kit, sunglasses, glasses, and then small conveniences like snacks, gum, pens, etc. It is a struggle to fit all of these comfortably in my bag, and leaves very little (if any) room to cram any extras in. The water bottle pocket is a joke - it can be used for small things you want quick access to, but I haven't found any water bottles that fit (even when the zipper expansion is open), and there is always a risk of things falling out of it.
I am very disappointed with this bag, especially with the price tag. Many bags of similar size can fit a lot more /provide more flexibility, and it seems heavier than average because of the heavy duty materials used in its construction.

Nice looking bag - lots of pockets - just would like it to be bigger
Just took this on a 3 week trip in Europe and it worked well! I really wanted to give it 5-stars but I struggled with the size. It needs to be a little bigger. Loved that there was an outside pocket for my water bottle but the other outside pockets (and there are a bunch of them) were either too small to use or where too difficult to access once the backpack was full. I did like that there were several “incognito” pockets - I used one for easy access to our passports and vaccination cards. If this bag was designed just a touch bigger it would have been a lot more practical. I was looking at the tote bags in this series but they all have a volume of 16 L and this was the only one that had a spot for my water bottle - so it won. Overall, I like it. It is a nice looking bag!

Size, design and quality are
Size, design and quality are great. I bought it to complete my Crew versapack set, which I love. But both the color of the backpack and the trim were just different enough that it did not match. (Why can't they offer this in Patriot Blue? And why a brown trim instead of tan? That makes no sense.) I sent it back because of the mismatch.

Much more convenient than a tote bag
So much more convenient than lugging around a tote bag! This backpack is extremely comfortable, looks good, and holds everything I need. Plus it leaves your hands free for whatever you need to do. I should have gotten this years ago!

Travelpro Does It Again
The thing that keeps me coming back to Travelpro time and again is the quality and durability of the products. This Travel + Leisure Slim Backpack is no exception! It’s well made with quality materials and I can already tell that it is going to stand up to years of use. Not only is it a durable bag, but it’s sleek and stylish too. The bag is extremely well crafted and versatile small backpack, and had many storage-option pockets, so many, in fact, an instruction booklet with suggestions for their likely uses might have been helpful! The shoulder straps are comfortable, but there is no chest strap. Given that there is a handle to carry the pack like a briefcase, an option to stow the straps or to secure them might have been advisable.
