Plastic Nut broke
I had great experience with coleman products in the past. I have two tents that worked very well for my family for many years. This is very disappointing to have this plastic nut just break apart during the second year of use and make it non useable.

Convenient but pricey.
Been using for a few years. Had same problem with knob as everyone but managed to repair from an old bbq. Over all satisfied but definitely needs to be improved.

Plastic knob/connector breaks
As with many of the other reviews, the Tree works great until the plastic knob connecting to the propane tank breaks. Mine broke after only a few uses. The knob seems to made of much less durable material than what is used on my backyard grill.

Used it for 2 years then the plastic screw that attach onto the propane bottle just broke in half.

Knob Broke, lantern fell
Same as many already posted. If i've used the product 4 times, its a lot. The center of the know broke free from the outer ring, and the whole tree came crashing down. The lantern did not break thankfully, but easily could have.

Don't waste your money
The cheap plastic threaded collar to attach the tree to your propane tank breaks, I tried a second one and it broke on the first use! There is NO WARRANTY for this and NO REPAIR. Don't wast your money

I would expect more from Coleman on these Distribution Trees. I have purchased 2 of them over the span of 6 months and both have broken at the connector!! Looking at the other reviews, this seems to be a HUGE design flaw!! Come on Coleman, your gear used to be top notch, especially propane camping gear!!! I have owned everything from Coolers to lanterns and everything in between that is manufactured by Coleman. Everything else I have ever purchased was top notch. However, these trees are junk. The failure of these has caused broken lantern glass, a burned propane hose that almost caught a dinning fly on fire because of the failure!! Definitely a serious safety hazard!! The small stamped tin support is a very cheap and worthless design. The design causes too much stress on the plastic knob and results in total failure and the tree falling to the ground. The lantern mounted on the tree will not survive this fall. And that is why I have had 2 lanterns broken. On top of that, when the connector fails, the propane that is in the tree shoots back out and can catch fire quickly. So Coleman, I would recommend a redesign effort on this distribution tree before someone gets seriously hurt!!
