The Worst Lawn Mower, Ever!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Use this mower less than 1 summer. Pros -- it stars and cuts. That aside there should be some recourse to label a mower "self propelled" when it absolutely is not. Absolutely! Even on asphalt with near zero grade, there is no assist whatsoever. I used to fill my toolshed with TroyBilt implements, but this experience was an outrage! Never again, TroyBilt, never again!

Love it but get rid of plastic self propeller box
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the brand. The plastic self propeller at the top was not a good idea. I had the TB 200 prior to this one and liked it better since you have to hold the starter bar down anyway. Have only used it once and I got a blister from having to hold both down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mower is quite possibly, no definitely, the worst mower I've ever owned. Used it a couple of months now -- starts well, cuts ok, but the FWD is an absolute joke. Zero power -- works well on concrete and asphalt (kind of), but absolutely no assist on grassy areas. And I mean no assist, even on an otherwise imperceptible grade. The few other minor issues pale in comparison with the FWD issue. Bad investment which will probably give up the ghost soon. Be ashamed TroyBilt! You are now part of the junk generation.

Decent Mower But No Self-Propulsion
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Granted I just bought this a week ago and have only used it a couple of times but the self-propelled portion barely works, even on concrete, as another reviewer mentioned. And I've noticed no difference when adjusting the Drive Control. Thinking about returning it, since it's really just a more expensive push mower. I've had Troy-Bilts in the past and have been very happy with them, none have been self-propelled though.
