Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice, but how much does it weigh ? Most important to the professional is knowledge of the weight of the battery. The result is certain knowledge of most bang for the buck, both in terms of dollars and output on the job for pounds lugged around. Is there an easy reference listing of the weights of the various m18 batteries. I really need to know this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Years of good reliability I have 6 of the these M18 XC 4.0 batteries. Very pleased with them and these batteries power lots of tools. These cost good money but are worth what your paying for. Do not try to by the generic ones sold. The licensed ones protect your tools and generic ones will damage your tools in the end costing you much more than the price of the real battery in the first place.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from both batteries wont charge I love the tools, but recently both of my batteries decided to die. I have a farm and use them fairly frequently, but not every day. They are about 3 years old, and are kept in a heated garage, and I always have one battery on the charger. I took the charged battery off the charger and put it onto my drill. It worked for a couple of minutes, then stopped. When the other battery was charged (light on charger was green) I did the same and the same thing happened!. Maybe it's the charger, but It is also not very old, and it has seen no adverse conditions. I checked the connections on the charger, and just in case, took some fine sandpaper and sanded them, but it still didn't work. Not sure what to do now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best thing on the market This battery is the best I have ever had. I have had dewalt, craftsman ,and ryobi none of them are as good or as long lasting as this battery. It may seem a bit pricey but it is well worth all the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great battery for the money!! I have heavily used these batteries for 7 years. (Wore out four Milwaukee drills in that time.) They don't hold the charge like new but still have plenty for most tasks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have 8 XC 3.0 - Several over 3 years old If you maintain any of the batteries they continue to operate long after their typical 3-year warranty. I have over 30 Milwaukee batteries of varying sizes and have yet to get a bad one. I am not a Milwaukee Rep.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rolls Royce of battery tools This is the by far the best tools you will ever use. The guys at my job ask if I have stock in Milwaukee. I made them by all the 18v tools you sell and got rid of the Dewalt. Now we are buying seconds of everything because guys are fighting over who has the cordless versus the corded. We fix the large container cranes for the largest shipping company in the world and these tools have taken alot of the effort we put in out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good at the start... Had great power to start off with when new, ran forever (I think that the Ah rating may have been understated). However, after about 3 months use, in the same conditions as the other 4 regular (li-ion) batteries i own, it has half the life, and doesn't want to recharge, but will if left on the charger long enough, about 5 or 6 hours. The others, some of which are over a year old, have no memory and continue to run as new. I may have gotten a bad apple, but it seems suspicious to me that the only battery in 5 to have problems is that one, and brand new as well.
