Poof and it’s gone
First thing I noticed was a hairline crack in the stoneware and then I noticed some leakage. Then poof it was in half. So sad because I loved the color and I loved using it constantly. Anyone out there with the stoneware insert? Help…

Can’t get smell out of lid.
Bought this a while back and now just getting a chance to use it for the first time. Used it to make chicken noodle soup and cannot get the smell out of the rubber on the lid. Tried washing with multiple things. Even tried to soak it in baking soda and vinegar. Will not get the smell out of it.

Cooks too fast
I had an old round 6qt that the crock cracked. The price to replace the crock was the same as this one new. Wish I had replaced the crock for the old one, but I got rid of the base and lid before I found the issues with this one. I used to put a roast with vegies in it in the morning on low and when I got home 10-12 hrs. later, super was ready. Nearly impossible to overcook items, which was what used to be advertised. With this one, I can put the same meal in and it's done in about 3-4 hrs. and getting dry. Virtually impossible to put a meal in, leave for the day and have something decent.
My particular one does have an issue that the high and low are reversed, so that didn't help, but there really doesn't seem to be enough difference to make change the cooking time by at least 6 hrs.
Last roast I made, I went back to putting it in the oven. It was in there about 6 hrs. at 220 and came out great. I'm thinking low is around 300. NOT what I would call slow.
The sealed lid is very nice for transporting, the finish on the crock is excellent (easy cleanup), and I could really love this (5 stars) if it just wasn't so darn hot. We would likely use it more if it were truly a SLOW COOKER.
I will recommend with reservations and qualifications.

Crock cracked after 4 uses
I don't use the crock pot often do it have had for over 1 year and only used 4 times. Cooked a roast and potatoes and started smelling a food burn smell...after eating took crock out and set on towel for food to cool off to move into another container and refrigerate...i saw food liquid stained on bottom of the heater portion but did not think about it much but when I want to check on the coolness of the food in the crock I noticed the towel was wet and was the juice from the roast
I examined further and found a crack along the bottom side up the side abount an inch.
4 uses and broke. I am very disappointed and will not buy crock-pot brand again...i also see another complaint of the same issue within the same usage amount time.

Junk. Never worked
Just pulled it out of the cabinet to do ham and beans, mind you, I was excited! Cooked 9 hours now, never really getting hot, beans are hard! Junk!
I tried nearly everything, this crap is going to the dump!

I own several crockpot and love them all. But my kid to this one shattered, how can I get a replacement lid? This one and my crockpot express are by far my favorites.

I bought my crockpot almost 7 years ago and recently I noticed a crack down the side (on one of the ends), it has started leaking when it's cooking and when it's soaking. I was hoping that I could just buy a replacement insert and wouldn't need to buy a new crockpot.
