Dont like it.
I used a Porter Cable 330 for years and it was great, heavy but did the job I needed it to do. They lasted at least 7 to 10 years under heavy use. Now I can't get one so bought this model. IT is TOO light and hard to control. I will have to do a lot more handsanding.. It also does not fit my small hand as well as the 330. The first thing that had to be done was remove the bulky dust collector!

Prqoduct cost
The sander is good....the one large problem is the cost of a new sanding pad....half as much as the tool and there is nothing to the thickness of the pad. Suggests will have to buy them frequently...too much.

Great sander
This is my second 1/4 sheet sander. I still have and use my earlier version Porter Cable 1/4 sheet sander. I bought this one for the convenience of moving through sanding grits on a project without stopping. I like the dust collection features on this new model and the dust collection. The motor on the new one might be slightly quieter than my old one. I store my tools in individual plastic boxes to keep them clean. A plastic storage box with sand paper storage would be the only thing I could think of to improve this tool. This is a great tool at a great price.
