Replacing 8 year old disposal
This model was in my brand new home when we moved in 8 years ago. It got a lot of use (family of 6). Has just started leaking from the bottom. We do not have hard water in my town, so maybe that helped extend the life. Buying another & hoping it lasts at least 8 years, too.

spend more and get a better disposer -
This MP50 says right on it, "2 year warranty" and that's exactly how long it lasted.
Some other manufactorers waste diposal in my last house was 15 years old and still working fine when I sold the house. The internal seals are bad and water is leaking out of the bottonm of the unit. I suggest spending $100 more and buying one that lasts . . .

GREAT WASTE DISPOSER
I bought this waste disposer online because my old one broke.
I wanted one that was made right here in the USA and True Value fit the bill.
I am very pleased! This was a quick and easy install for my grandson (who is 16) and the disposer works GREAT!

I think this is an insinkerator Badger in Master Plumber disguise. It perfectly fit the old flange and drain pipe.
For someone in a small town, going to my local True Value sure beat the 30 minute drive to Home Depot.
