Bolt automatically deadlocks when fully thrown. 1" throw deadbolt with hardened steel core provides maximum protection against kick-ins. Maximum protection against key cylinder attack and hammer and crow bar prying attacks, too. Use on all entry doors, including door leading from the garage to the home. Schlage's SecureKey™ cylinder allows you to re-key the lock without removing it from the door. SecureKey Technology makes homes 10 times more secure from key duplication. SecureKey Technology provides superior key control by using a unique blue Reset Key to re-key the lock. Blue Reset Key has a specific key cut, ensuring that only blue Reset Key will re-key your lock. DOUBLE CYLINDER LOCKS ON RESIDENCES AND ANY DOOR IN ANY STRUCTURE THAT IS USED FOR EGRESS ARE A SAFETY HAZARD IN TIMES OF EMERGENCY AND THEIR USE IS NOT RECOMMENDED.
